Luís Canastreiro has a degree in Computer Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and is a Premier Field Engineer at Microsoft since 2006. Currently his main reponsibilities are:

• Troubleshooting and SQL Server-based solution optimization, including Failover Clustering solutions.
• Delivery of Risk Assesments Programs for SQL Server (SQL RAPs) at EMEA.
• Development and presentation of Workshops for SQL Server, Web (IIS) and Windows Powershell.
• Posting in the Portuguese SQL Server PFE team blog
